Syrah

Syrah

Red Wines

Blackcurrants, blueberries, blackberries, followed by plum, licorice, tobacco, and tantalizing peppery notes on the finish – these are the aromas that meet and blend in our Syrah, a wine as intriguing as the land it comes from and perhaps even its name.

It is believed that “Syrah” derives from “Syracuse,” the enchanting Sicilian city whose countryside has always been home to its production.

On the palate, it is exceptionally smooth and enveloping. We recommend pairing it with red meats and aged cheeses.

Ceramics

Ceramic masks are an age-old symbol of Sicilian culture, rooted in ancient Greek and Roman traditions, where they depicted mythological figures, gods, or grotesque faces.

The art of crafting these masks has been passed down through generations, with artisans transforming ceramics into unique works rich in detail, featuring vibrant colors and glossy glazes. They portray intense expressions tied to symbols of prosperity, protection, and good fortune.

These masks adorn Sicilian homes and courtyards, preserving stories and profound meanings, a testament to a tradition that blends aesthetics and spirituality.

“Red currant, blueberry, liquorice, tobacco and pepper: Syrah is a wine as intriguing and evocative as Sicily, the land that produces it. It is encompassing and smooth to the palate.”
